FAQs

  • Unless stated otherwise on the top of the “Coffee” page, we roast coffee Monday-Friday. You will receive an email letting you know the day we will roast your coffee and the day we will drop off your coffee for shipping. All orders are typically roasted and shipped within three business days.

  • We ship all of our coffees in whole bean and you will need to have a grinder. Shipping the bean out whole keeps it fresher for longer.

  • All of our coffee is shipped in one-way vented bags. These keep the oxygen from making the beans stale and keep the beans tasting better for longer. We recommend storing your coffee beans in these bags between brewing. The 5 lb bags will need to be folded over and clamped down to keep the oxygen out.

  • Light roasts will typically present a nuttier and more acidic taste. We recommend this roast level for those who know specifically what they want in a light roast. The medium roast is the normal go-to for most and will present the balanced tones for each origin or blend. Our dark roast will bring out a more chocolate flavor in most beans. We don’t over-roast our dark roast to the point of burning them in either an Italian or French roast level.

  • We ship via USPS, UPS, and FedEx depending on your location. All shipments cost a flat fee of $9.99 unless you order $100 or more of coffee and then you can enter “freeshipping” at checkout for that discount. Shipments will generally take 1 to 4 days to arrive once they leave the shipping facility. It may take longer the further away you are from Alabama though. If you require a particular shipping company or need expedited shipping, feel free to reach out to us at contact@wrightfarmcoffeeroasters.com and we will let you know what the extra cost might be.

  • We currently use a Mill City drum roaster to roast all of the coffee. This company based out of Minneapolis provides premier roasters and we are proud to be able to roast your coffee in a top-of-the-line drum roaster.

  • Many time orders placed before noon CST can be placed on the roast schedule that same day and shipped the next day. Generally we schedule orders for roasting within 1 to 2 business days. We can’t guarantee a same-day roast but we always try our best! If you’re curious when you will be scheduled just reach out at contact@wrightfarmcoffeeroasters.com and we’ll let you know promptly!

  • Our business hours are Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm but I am dedicated to reaching out as quickly as I can at all times. Unless we’re on vacation or we’re handling farm and church stuff on the weekends, you can generally expect a response on the same day. Email contact@wrightfarmcoffeeroasters.com for anything you might need or questions you might have!

  • We do not accept coffee returns at this time. However, if there was damage to the bags during shipping or if there is something else wrong with the coffee, please email us at contact@wrightfarmcoffeeroasters.com so that we can find out what is happening and work to make it right.
